The Clinton Field Hockey Program raised $10,460.00 in this years effort to raise awareness of the different types of cancer. The Field Hockey families and supporters donated over 30 gift baskets and gift cards to be added to a calendar drawing for the month of October. The girls sold over 500 tickets to be entered into that raffle.
Clinton Field Hockey is “Sticking” together in support of the Dahlin Family. The girls played 2 games in their annual effort to help raise awareness for all types of cancer and support our community in the memory of long time devoted Clinton Field Hockey Coach Jean Vicks.
This years recipient is Meral Dahlin and is a Clinton graduate. Her husband and two children live in Clinton. Meral was diagnosed in March of 2024 with a large sarcoma tumor. She continues to receive excellent care at Memorial Sloan Kettering where she has had surgery and she is working with her sarcoma specialist on a treatment plan to manage the sarcoma cancer.
