About:
The CNS Girls Lacrosse continues to make an impact beyond the field by promoting literacy and giving back through their growing partnership with Book-Van-Go.
This season, both the varsity and JV teams are leading a youth book drive, collecting books to help increase access to reading materials for children in the community. The initiative has quickly gained momentum, bringing together athletes, families, and neighboring programs.
A special thank you goes out to the Liverpool Girls Lacrosse program for their support of the drive—demonstrating how collaboration between teams can amplify impact and strengthen community connections.
Additional contributions, including book donations from community members like Colton Chaney, highlight the widespread support behind this effort and the shared commitment to promoting literacy.
Through this initiative, CNS student-athletes are taking on leadership roles by organizing, promoting, and collecting donations—showcasing the power of teamwork both on and off the field.
By using their platform to support education and access to books, CNS Girls Lacrosse is helping inspire young readers and make a lasting difference. Efforts like this reinforce how athletics can serve as a catalyst for positive change, extending far beyond competition.
