About:
More than 220 students and staff members from Sachem High School North celebrated unity and diversity with the second annual Color Us United Color Run. The Intercultural Club and Foreign Language Honor Society collaborated to host the event, where students were showered with different colors as they ran, walked and danced along the route outside of the high school.
The Color Us United Color Run highlighted acceptance and inclusivity, showcasing the many unique cultures of the world. Additionally, it raised education about the Hindu festival, Holi which is celebrated in India. Holi is also known as the Festival of Spring, or Festival of Colors, and celebrates love and life.
