About:
The Commack High School boys lacrosse team recently took the field for something bigger than the game—hosting a powerful “We Play for Morgan” dedication game in support of Morgan’s Message.
Centered around raising awareness for student-athlete mental health, the game brought the community together with a shared purpose: to break the stigma and encourage open conversations. With the message “We play with purpose. We play with heart,” the team demonstrated how athletics can serve as a platform for meaningful impact.
Facing off against Bay Shore High School, the event went beyond competition, highlighting unity, support, and advocacy for mental wellness. Through their efforts, Commack’s student-athletes showed leadership both on and off the field—using their voices to promote awareness and stand behind an important cause.
