Dear Commack Lacrosse Family,
At this time the Booster Club would like to say a few Thank you’s and shout outs regarding our Tribute to the Troops event!
Thank you so much to John Campanella and Richard Yopp from Pizzaiolo, for their extremely generous donation!! The food that was ordered for the VIP section to feed our local veterans, and the pizza that was ordered to sell at our concession stand, was all ultimately donated by Pizzaiolo!! The Booster Club really appreciates this very kind and generous gesture, to both our local veterans, and in helping the booster club save and raise more funds!! Parents, please continue to patronize our locally owned businesses who continue to help and support our community!
Thank you so much to the JV and Varsity Parents who volunteered their time to pick up balloons, help set up tables, decorate, man the VIP section, run the concession stand, and help with clean-up! Your time and effort was greatly appreciated!! The Tribute to the Troops event would not have been a success without you!
Thank you to Steve McClain for the donation of Arizona Ice Teas for the VIP dinner and concession stand!!
The Booster Club would also like to thank the Varsity Coaches for their flexibility in working with the booster parents to meet with the Varsity Team in preparing for this event! Monday after an early release from practice, the booster club added American Flag decals to the teams helmets. Tuesday before game time, the coaches made time for the booster club to hand out American Flag cleat covers. The time allowed to add these special touches for the day’s events was greatly appreciated!
Our School/Community Liaison Debbie Virga, has expressed her sincere appreciation to the Commack Boys Lacrosse Team and Booster Club, for hosting this years event! She thanks everyone involved for honoring our veterans and current active law enforcement and military!!
Thank you again to all who made this day a success!
