The Commack Varsity Girls Basketball team took part in an impactful event on Monday afternoon, hosting their Score for a Cure / Coaches vs. Cancer game against Sachem East. The game was not just about basketball but also about raising awareness and showing support for those affected by cancer.
In addition to wearing pink to honor the cause, the student-athletes wrote the names of loved ones touched by cancer on T-shirts they wore pregame. This personal touch brought the event to life, as players and supporters alike rallied together in solidarity with those battling cancer.
