About:
Connnetquot High School’s Student Government, which includes student athletes, recently hosted its annual Holiday Character Breakfast to provide community residents with a fun and safe holiday environment to celebrate the festive season.
More than 50 high school students volunteered to take part in this year’s event and each volunteer was dressed as a well-known character from children’s stories. The admission fee entitled the children and their families to enjoy breakfast in the cafeteria, alongside the opportunity to meet with some of their favorite characters, including Santa Claus.
“This event is such a success because of the outstanding student volunteers and teachers who love to work with the children of the community” said Jen Piscitelli, co-advisor to the CHS Student Government.
