About:
The softball community at Connetquot Athletics came together in a powerful show of support and unity during its “Play for a Cause” game focused on suicide awareness and prevention.
Varsity, junior varsity, and both middle school softball teams joined together for the meaningful event, highlighting the importance of mental health awareness while strengthening connections across all levels of the program. The day served as a reminder that athletics can provide not only competition and teamwork, but also a platform for important conversations and community support.
A special thank you went out to the parents and coaching staff whose support and dedication helped make the event possible. Their efforts created an impactful experience that encouraged awareness, compassion, and support for those facing mental health challenges.
By standing together for such an important cause, Connetquot Softball demonstrated the lasting impact student-athletes and school communities can have when they use sports to inspire understanding and positive change.
