Our Modified Volleyball Teams dedicated part of their practice on Wednesday to decorate meal bags for the Corning Meals on Wheels Program.
“Corning Meals on Wheels has been serving elderly, home-bound, and frail residents in the greater Corning-Painted Post area for 56 years. Our goal is to improve health and nutrition while preserving independence for those who cannot easily travel outside of the home.” (from their website – https://cmowheels.com/)
Decorating the bags brings a little extra color and cheer to the recipients’ meal. Hopefully it will bring lots of smiles and make someone’s day! Way to go Hawks!
