The athletes came together this year to support a meaningful cause by completing their Toys for Tots Community Service Project. Most of the athletes spread the word through their social media platforms, encouraging the community to get involved and help make a difference. Given the circumstances this year, the team felt it was especially important to support local children around the holidays.
The event was a huge success, bringing the community together with over 250 toys donated, all staying local to the area. Students from all levels participated, including players from the Corning Youth Football program (1st to 6th grade), as well as the modified, JV, and Varsity football teams, who all helped collect toys. It was a wonderful night filled with generosity and holiday spirit, and the athletes were thrilled to make a positive impact in young children’s lives.
