About:
The baseball program at Middletown High School is strengthening its culture by investing in the next generation of student-athletes.
As part of an ongoing tradition, senior members of the varsity baseball team recently welcomed the program’s modified teams—bringing together 7th and 8th grade players for a meaningful introduction to what it means to be a Crusader.
During the event, senior players shared their experiences, offering insight into the commitment, teamwork, and pride that come with representing the program. Their message went beyond the game, emphasizing leadership, accountability, and the importance of supporting one another as part of a unified team.
The experience concluded with a special moment, as the younger athletes received their team hats and program t-shirts—symbolizing their official welcome into the Crusader baseball family.
Through mentorship and connection, the program continues to build a strong foundation rooted in culture, community, and the belief that success starts with supporting one another—on and off the field.
