Deer Park High School’s Student Council and Community Service Club hosted P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 11, spreading light on the importance of being kind to yourself and others. The annual event emphasizes the importance of embracing differences, choosing kindness and lifting others up.
This year’s theme was “One Step at a Time,” and throughout the week of Feb. 7-11, daily affirmations and words of inspiration were announced. The clubs also decorated the lobby for the event and asked other students to sign a banner to help spread kindness and awareness.
