Delano Tigers student-athletes and performers continue to demonstrate that leadership extends far beyond competition. This week, they proudly kicked off I Love to Read Month by visiting both the Elementary and Intermediate Schools, sharing their time and enthusiasm with younger students while promoting the importance of literacy.
The visit highlighted the powerful influence student-athletes can have as role models. By reading with students and engaging with classrooms, Delano athletes helped inspire a love of learning while reinforcing the value of giving back to the community they represent.
