About:
Cold Spring Harbor High School opened its doors to members of both the Huntington Senior Center and Oyster Bay Senior Center for a pre-show dinner followed by a performance of “Chicago Teen Edition.”
It was a packed house as members of the high school’s National Honor Society warmly welcomed arriving guests to the pre-show dinner with trays filled with pastas, salads, rolls and beverages. While staff and administrators mingled with the guests, student volunteers assumed the roles of waiters and waitresses sprinkling parmesan cheese, pouring lemonade and coffee, and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves and their needs were met. The abundant dessert table was the finishing touch to a perfect dinner.
Following the dinner, the guests were treated to a performance of “Chicago Teen Edition” that rivaled a Broadway production. The students had a wonderful opportunity to showcase their theatrical and musical talents and the audience responded with several thunderous rounds of applause. The event was a wonderful way to bring the community together and a complete success thanks to the hard work of the students and staff.
