The softball team from Dobbs Ferry Softball took the field for something bigger than the game while participating in the annual Strike Out Breast Cancer Tournament at Ardsley High School.
The event united teams and communities in support of breast cancer awareness while also rallying around 7-year-old Walker and his heart transplant journey. Through competition, fundraising, and community support, the tournament showcased the incredible impact athletics can have in bringing people together for meaningful causes.
Players wore pink in honor of the event, helping raise awareness and support through concession proceeds and donations benefiting Walker’s journey. The day served as a powerful reminder that sports can inspire compassion, unity, and hope far beyond the scoreboard.
