Fifth and sixth-grade students from the East Northport Middle School SHARE Club recently took the lead in the Great Kindness Week Kindness Pledge. During lunch periods, students from all grades were invited to participate and commit to spreading kindness throughout the school.
The event saw an outpouring of support as many students eagerly signed their names in hearts or wrote down personal pledges, expressing the different ways they plan to show kindness at ENMS. From small acts of kindness to larger, more thoughtful gestures, students embraced the opportunity to contribute to fostering a positive and supportive school environment.
The initiative was a wonderful reminder of the impact kindness can have, and it’s clear that the students of East Northport Middle School are committed to making their school a welcoming place for all. The SHARE Club’s leadership in this event exemplifies the power of student-driven efforts to promote kindness and inclusion.
