This past Saturday, the East Rockaway Track teams laced up their sneakers and hit the ground running—literally and figuratively—at the East Rockaway Education Foundation 5K!
The event saw an incredible turnout from the program, including 1 coach, 3 junior high school athletes, 11 varsity athletes, 2 alumni, and even a track parent participating in the race. But the team’s impact didn’t stop there—5 additional varsity track athletes and another coach volunteered their time to help run the event.
Their strong presence and community spirit made a lasting impression, perfectly reflecting what it means to lead both on and off the track.
