This past weekend, thirty dedicated members of Eastport-South Manor’s National Honor Society laced up their running shoes to participate in Andrew’s Top Gun Run 5K. The event, which supports local causes, was an excellent opportunity for the students to engage in a community event while staying active and giving back.
Among the participants, Sara Mikula stood out by claiming first place in her age group! Her impressive performance is a testament to the hard work and determination she puts into everything she does—both academically and athletically.
The ESM National Honor Society members not only showcased their commitment to community service through their participation but also demonstrated the spirit of teamwork and leadership that the organization fosters. It’s inspiring to see these young leaders making an impact both in and outside the classroom!
