The Eastview Cross Country and Track teams continue to set the pace both on and off the course through their ongoing commitment to community service. From running in with the Homecoming ball, to cleaning Cliff Road, and volunteering at the Twin Cities Marathon and 10-Mile, these student-athletes are proving that leadership extends far beyond competition.
Community involvement is woven into the fabric of Coach Sharp’s programs. Each spring, the Track team partners with the local Senior Center, helping seniors in the community with a variety of needs. As the coach shared, “Community service is a part of all my programs. I’m not great at public acknowledgement — the focus is the folks we assist.”
