Athletes from the football and girls’ soccer teams stepped up to make a difference by volunteering at the 7th-grade orientation. These dedicated student-athletes took the lead in welcoming the new students to their school community. They walked the incoming 7th graders around the campus, introducing them to the various classrooms, facilities, and resources available.
But their involvement didn’t stop there. They also made themselves available to answer any questions the parents had, providing reassurance and clarity during this important transition period. Their participation not only eased the new students and their families into the school environment but also exemplified leadership and community spirit.
Thank you to the Eldred football and girls’ soccer teams for setting a fantastic example of what it means to be a leader on and off the field! We can’t wait to see more submissions like this that highlight the power of community service and the positive impact our athletes can make.
