About:
For Evan Fraser, community service has become an important part of both his personal growth and his commitment to helping others. Through his church, Evan has dedicated countless hours volunteering as a co-assistant teacher, helping guide and encourage children as they learn about their faith.
Stepping into a teaching role for the first time challenged Evan to grow as a leader, communicator, and mentor. He helps students get settled, motivated, and engaged while supporting the lead teacher during lessons and activities. Whether assisting with prayers, answering questions, or helping clean up after class, Evan’s dedication has made a positive impact on the children he serves.
Since beginning this role at the start of 9th grade, Evan has accumulated more than 70 hours of service through teaching and mentoring young members of his church community.
Beyond the classroom, Evan also volunteers at church events, helping set up tables, chairs, equipment, and food for gatherings throughout the year. From Easter and Resurrection Sunday celebrations to Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, anniversary events, and summer programs, Evan consistently gives his time to support others behind the scenes. His additional volunteer efforts have totaled more than 50 hours of service.
