About:
Riverhead High School recently helped some local residents by participating in the “Feeding Families in Need” project run by the Long Island Council of Churches.
As part of the community service project, more than 15 Bible Club members peeled and cut potatoes, cut and plated pies, assisted in slicing turkey and served food to guests at the high school. The students also assisted in cleanup.
“We are very proud of their willingness to serve the community in any way they can,” said adviser Leyda Florez
