About:
On Sunday, April 6th, the Fredonia High School Football team showed their commitment to service by taking part in the Village of Fredonia Police Benevolent Association’s Community Clean-Up Day. Ten members of the team dedicated their morning to picking up trash and debris in local parks and playgrounds, helping prepare these public spaces for the upcoming spring, summer, and fall seasons.
Their hard work not only made Fredonia a cleaner, more welcoming place—it also reflected the team’s strong sense of responsibility and leadership. This effort is part of a growing movement within the school to encourage student-athletes to give back through volunteer work. By stepping off the field and into their community, the Fredonia football players demonstrated the power of teamwork beyond the game.
