During this year’s Fall Fair, the Friends Academy Student Athlete Leadership Council (SALC) got creative with their community service by hosting a fun and refreshing “Splash a Senior” fundraiser!
In an effort to give back through sport, senior student-athletes volunteered to get drenched — all to support Every Kid Sports, an organization that helps provide financial assistance to children who might not otherwise be able to participate in youth athletics.
Thanks to the enthusiasm of the FA community and the generosity of donors, the event raised $290, ensuring that more kids have the opportunity to experience the joy, teamwork, and growth that come from playing sports.
