About:
Several members of Ronkonkoma Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society recently volunteered to weed the Ronkonkoma Community Garden. The garden was created on school grounds in 2012 as part of an extracurricular gardening club but had not been tended to since March due to the pandemic. Connetquot Central School District thanks volunteers Angelina Cafiero, Valentina Colonia, Lea DeRosa, Marianna Furno, Samantha Heuer, Gianna Miele, Julianna Palminteri, Michael Patanjo and Bethany Ugenti for their efforts in maintaining this prized part of RMS.
