About:
A joint SADD club venture between Bethpage High School and John F. Kennedy Middle School, (which included student athletes) a special drive was held to send items to four soldiers overseas who graduated from the district.
For two weeks, items such as books, clothing, food and toiletries were collected at each of the schools and St. Joseph’s Hospital donated medical supplies to send as well. Members of the Marine Corps facilitated the shipping of the items and came to collect the boxes prior to the spring break.
