About:
This week, Great Hollow Middle School joins the national Red Ribbon Week campaign with the theme, “Partner Up” Against Drugs! Red Ribbon Week empowers students and communities to stand strong against drug use, honoring the memory of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena and promoting healthy choices.
At GHMS, students are showing school spirit and commitment through daily pledges, theme days, creative contests, and engaging assemblies led by guest speakers. This year’s “Partner Up” theme reminds students that they don’t face tough choices alone; by supporting each other, they build a stronger, safer school community.
Families are encouraged to join in by talking with their children about Red Ribbon Week, reinforcing positive choices, and pledging as a family to live drug-free. Together, GHMS is making a lasting impact—because united, we’re stronger!
