With 1 in 5 families in Minnesota facing food insecurity, TG Women’s Basketball stepped up to serve their community by volunteering this weekend at Second Harvest Heartland.
Second Harvest Heartland is a leading organization working to end hunger across Minnesota by sourcing and distributing food to neighbors in need. Through partnerships with more than 1,000 local organizations, Second Harvest provides millions of meals each year, supporting families, seniors, and children throughout the state.
TG student-athletes spent the day giving their time and energy to support this important mission, demonstrating that leadership extends far beyond the basketball court. Their service reflects the values they represent every day—compassion, responsibility, and a commitment to helping others.
The program proudly recognizes its athletes for living out the Totino-Grace service core value and for using their platform to make a meaningful difference. Their efforts are a powerful reminder that being part of a team means showing up for the community, too.
