About:
High School West students Nicholas Rindfuss, Ryan Matejka, and Miles Sacks brought donuts and enjoyed a breakfast with veterans at the LI State Veterans Home during spring break.
The students also donated a fully-tactile Braille flag to the Veterans Home, which they were able to purchase from fundraising that they had done throughout the year.
This activity was organized as part of their Service Learning Project in pursuit of the NY State Seal of Civic Readiness.
