Photo caption: The community service club at Manetuck Elementary School in the West Islip School District is giving the gift of warmth this holiday season. The club members recently made fleece blankets for patients at Good Samaritan Hospital. The fourth and fifth grade students came to school early to complete this project with perfection. The community service club advisers Kerri Ierardi and Robin Caputo, along with school counselor Michelle Falco, donated the blankets in time for Thanksgiving.
