About:
The Glen Falls girls basketball program recently brought its school community together for a meaningful Morgan’s Message dedication game, combining mental health awareness with the celebration of Senior Night.
Held in the high school gym during the team’s matchup against Queensbury, the event provided an important platform to highlight the significance of student-athlete mental health. Morgan’s Message is dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in athletics and encouraging open, supportive conversations among teammates, coaches, and the broader community.
The evening also honored the program’s seniors, recognizing their leadership, dedication, and contributions to the team. Surrounded by family, friends, and supporters, the players were celebrated not only for their achievements on the court but for the positive example they set throughout their high school careers.
By using their game as an opportunity to raise awareness and foster connection, Glen Falls student-athletes demonstrated the true impact sports can have beyond competition. The dedication game reflected the team’s commitment to playing with purpose, supporting one another, and helping build a stronger, more compassionate school community.
