Pennies for Pink: Small Donations, Big Impact
Schools across the Glens Falls district participated in Pennies for Pink, encouraging students and families to contribute to breast cancer awareness efforts.
Collections took place at every school and during athletic events, bringing the initiative beyond the classroom and into the district’s sports community.
The effort demonstrated how even small contributions can bring people together in support of an important cause.
Power of Pink Brings the District Together
As part of the district’s breast cancer awareness activities, schools celebrated a district-wide Power of Pink Day, encouraging students and staff to show their support by wearing pink.
The initiative served as a visible reminder of the community’s commitment to honoring those fighting cancer, celebrating survivors, and remembering those who have lost their battles.
Students Step Up at Making Strides Walk
Glens Falls students also participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, joining others in raising awareness and showing support for individuals and families affected by the disease.
Their involvement reinforced the importance of taking action beyond school walls and standing together for a cause that impacts so many lives.
One Community, One Purpose
From school-wide fundraising collections to athletic events and community walks, Glens Falls demonstrated how students and families can unite to make a positive difference.
Through their collective efforts, the district embraced a powerful message of hope, compassion, and support.
