About:

Washington Drive Primary School in the Harborfields Central School District went “Gold” on Sept. 30 to support Maggie’s Mission. Every September, students and staff across the district are reminded to “Go Gold” for a day, wearing yellow or gold in memory of Harborfields student Maggie Schmidt who passed away from cancer shortly after turning 17. Her family raises money in her memory to fund pediatric cancer research and support.
