Girls Varsity Lacrosse team recently demonstrated that athletics can be about much more than competition by coming together to support Morgan’s Message and raise awareness for student-athlete mental health.
Centered around the theme “Bigger Than the Game,” the initiative focused on encouraging important conversations surrounding mental wellness while reminding students and athletes that support and connection matter both on and off the field.
Through the event, the team showcased leadership, compassion, and community spirit as players, coaches, families, and supporters united around a cause that continues to impact student-athletes everywhere.
Morgan’s Message, founded in memory of student-athlete Morgan Rodgers, works to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health in athletics and create environments where athletes feel comfortable seeking help and supporting one another. By participating in the initiative, the Golden Knights helped continue that mission while using their platform to inspire awareness and positivity within their school community.
