About:
This fall, the Goshen Cheerleading team showed what true unity, compassion, and team spirit look like—both in competition and in the community.
Honoring Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month
In September, the team proudly wore teal in recognition of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, dedicating their efforts to someone incredibly close to their hearts. Senior captain Maya’s mom is currently fighting ovarian cancer, making this cause deeply personal for the entire program.
In a powerful display of love and solidarity, the team stood together with a shared message: no one fights alone. Their teal ribbons and team-wide support reminded everyone that they are more than teammates—they are family.
Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness in October
As October arrived, the team continued their mission of advocacy by shifting to pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. At games throughout the month, the cheerleaders used their platform to honor survivors, support fighters, and raise awareness for a cause that impacts countless families.
Whether wearing teal or pink, the Goshen Cheerleaders demonstrated unwavering commitment to lifting others up and using their voices for meaningful causes.
