About:
The Grand Rapids and Greenway school communities came together for a special Dig Pink Cancer Fundraiser, combining school spirit, friendly competition, and support for an important cause.
Before the varsity volleyball match, staff members from Grand Rapids and Greenway took the court for a fun staff volleyball game in support of the fundraiser.
The matchup brought plenty of energy and gave both school communities another way to participate in the evening while helping raise awareness in the fight against cancer.
The staff game added an extra layer of community involvement to the Dig Pink event, showing how students, coaches, staff, families, and supporters can all come together around a shared cause.
It was a fun and meaningful way to kick off the night and another great example of how school athletics can bring people together to make a difference beyond the game.
