About:
Students and staff at Great Hollow Middle School recently came together to participate in PS I Love You Day, a nationwide initiative focused on spreading kindness, raising awareness about mental health, and reminding individuals that they are never alone.
The day centered around the theme “Be The Light,” encouraging students to support one another and be a positive presence in their school community. Through participation and shared activities, the event helped reinforce the importance of compassion, empathy, and connection.
The goal of PS I Love You Day is to instill hope for those affected by mental illness while fostering an environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and supported. By embracing the message of the day, Great Hollow students and staff demonstrated how small acts of kindness and encouragement can make a meaningful difference.
The theme served as a powerful reminder for the entire school community to “be the sun in someone’s cloudy day,”promoting positivity and strengthening the culture of care and support within the school.
Events like this highlight the important role schools play in supporting student well-being and building communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and uplifted
