About:
Students from the Half Hollow Hills High School East Robotics Team 3624 are putting their skills and leadership into action—organizing a meaningful clothing drive that supports both the community and environmental sustainability.
Running from May 4 through May 30, the initiative invites community members to donate gently used clothing, shoes, linens, and small to medium stuffed animals. All collected items will go toward helping those in need while also promoting responsible reuse and reducing waste.
Donations can be dropped off at the school’s main office during school days, with a special weekend drop-off event on May 30 from 12–2 PM, making it even easier for the community to participate.
Through this effort, Robotics Team 3624 is demonstrating that innovation extends beyond the classroom—using teamwork, organization, and problem-solving to create real-world impact. Their initiative not only supports local families but also reinforces the importance of sustainability and community responsibility.
Projects like this highlight how students can take the lead in addressing both social and environmental needs—proving that even small actions can make a big difference.
