The Harborfields Field Hockey program continues to lead with heart—both on and off the field. This October, the team came together to make a meaningful difference through two impactful fundraising initiatives supporting pediatric cancerand breast cancer awareness.
Through their “Corners 4 Cancer” pledge campaign, 90 individuals and families made pledges tied to the number of corners earned during the team’s home games. After tallying 42 corners, the players proudly raised an incredible $5,000for Ribbons Rising, a local foundation that provides counseling, financial assistance, and support services to families facing cancer. The organization holds a special place in the Harborfields community, making this effort even more personal and inspiring.
In addition, the team’s spirited “Boo My Yard” fundraiser brought Halloween fun to the neighborhood while raising $800 for Corey’s Promise, an organization dedicated to helping families impacted by pediatric cancer. Corey’s Promise is another cause deeply connected to the Harborfields community, and the players were proud to lend their support.
Together, these efforts raised a total of $5,800 for two incredible local foundations, showcasing the team’s dedication to giving back and making a difference.
