About:

Studnet athletes were busy this holiday season with their clubs at school organizing some great projects to serve others in their community!

1. Habitat for Humanity: On December 6, the Habitat for Humanity club joined together with Project H.O.P.E. to serve over 160 guests at the St. Hugh Soup Kitchen. Project H.O.P.E. is a community outreach program that began in 2004. It was founded by the youth of St Hugh’s Parish to help the hungry in the Huntington Station area. The acronym stands for Helping Other People Eat. Each year the Habitat for Humanity club members join together to serve others.

2. Key Club: The Harborfields Key Club participated in the annual Field of Honor flag removal event with the Kiwanis Club of Huntington recently. This is the third year that our Key Club has participated in this event.

3. Holiday Festival: The members of the Harborfields High School Interact Club were on hand at the Gardiner’s Barn Holiday Festival volunteering their time and giving back to their community
