About:

East Islip High School’s varsity softball team volunteered at Farmingdale College’s annual “Have a Heart for the Homeless” event on March 31.

Aided by coach Jason McGowan, these altruistic players brought in clothes, canned goods and other items; handed out candles and coats; did face painting; and helped families in need throughout the night.
