The Hendrick Hudson Football program recently dedicated a special game to the men and women who serve and protect the local community every day.
The evening recognized local firefighters, police officers, emergency medical personnel, and 911 dispatchers, giving players, families, and fans an opportunity to show their appreciation for the courage, dedication, and commitment of first responders.
Among those honored were members of the Montrose Fire Department, Buchanan Fire Department, Verplanck Fire Department, Buchanan Police Department, Westchester County Police Department, and Cortlandt Ambulance, along with school resource officers Officer Kressman and Officer Martinez.
The tribute served as a meaningful reminder of the important role first responders play in keeping the community safe and supporting local families.
By dedicating the game to these everyday heroes, Hendrick Hudson Football helped bring the school and community together around a message of gratitude and respect.
For the players, the night was about more than football. It was an opportunity to recognize those who give so much of themselves in service to others and to simply say, thank you for all that you do.
