this event was run throuogh PE Leaders club—we hosted 125 special needs students from 6 districts on May 18th from 10 am to 12:30pm—Lawerence, Lynbrook, East Rockaway, Valley Stream, , Carle Place, and our Hewlett-woodmere schools. We had 10 adaptive stations, such as the Javelin throw, baton relay races, long jump, obstacle course, arts n crafts—design your own t-shirts, and we had a large jumper and an ice cream truck at the end. To make this work, I had 50 students helpers—cream of the crop kids who play sports, are friendly, and want to be there. They had various jobs, from greeters, station managers, , emcee and dj, and each school had 2 chaperones (students) to help make it run smoothly
