About:

The attached picture is a receipt for the food donations to the community center of Northern Westchester.

They were so appreciative of the girls efforts and generosity. It was 335.5 lbs of food!

The team is asked to develop a community service project and then complete it. All team members who attended the end of the season banquet 29 out of 32 brought the supplies that were asked for. Coach Meg Kaplan also participated and doubled the order to cover my assistant coach.

For the Food drive going to the community center of northern Westchester it was the following:
A box of cereal
2 pounds of pasta
1 jar of pasta sauce
1 package of juice boxes
2 cans of vegetables
2 cans of beans

There were 36 girls on the team and about 2.5 hours each.

In addition on Saturday 12/3 Coach Meg Kaplan and her husband dropped off the toy donations from their family and the team to the Vista Fire Department in Vista NY where Meg’s daughter passed away in 2021. She was a member as a firefighter and EMT.
A little less than 20 girls volunteered for about 1.5 hours each.  Only some of the toys were donated by the girls but this was the firehouse collection site at Vista Fire Department
