Each Sunday, students from Scarsdale and Yorktown High Schools dedicate their time to volunteering with Able Athletics, a program that empowers children with disabilities through sports. Over the course of six weeks, these student-athletes build meaningful relationships while sharing their passion for the game with some truly inspiring young athletes.
The commitment and connection between the volunteers and the children highlight the true power of sports in fostering inclusion and creating a supportive community. It’s heartwarming to see how these high school students not only teach the game but also learn valuable lessons in empathy and teamwork.
