The Hills East Best Buddies and Peer Connections clubs proudly recognized Autism Awareness Day by promoting a spirit of inclusion, understanding, and support for individuals of all abilities.
In honor of the day, both clubs organized a meaningful fundraising effort to help sponsor the upcoming Best Buddies Prom on May 21. Thanks to their dedication and the generosity of the school community, funds were raised to ensure this special event would be a memorable and inclusive celebration for all participants.
Through their efforts, the students exemplified the values of empathy, advocacy, and unity — making Autism Awareness Day not only a moment of recognition, but also one of meaningful action.
