The Hofstra Men’s Lacrosse team recently had the honor of participating in the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk, a meaningful event that pays tribute to first responders and military personnel. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was established in memory of firefighter Stephen Siller, who lost his life during the 9/11 attacks, and the annual 5K serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by so many.
The Hofstra lacrosse team embraced this opportunity, not only as a way to show their support for those who serve, but also as a moment to bond as a team. Participating in such a special event allowed them to step off the field and come together in a different way, contributing to a cause that resonates deeply across the nation.
The Tunnel to Towers event brings together people from all walks of life, uniting communities to honor the heroes who continue to protect and serve. For Hofstra Men’s Lacrosse, it was an unforgettable experience, one that reinforced their commitment to giving back and making a positive impact both on and off the field.
