About:

We are a large club in Holley—over 60 students—and at least 50% play one sport.

For Senior Soccer Night this year the Senior Soccer players all have their activities read out loud.  There were so many Interact Club mentions.  This year’s Soccer Seniors have been with Interact for at least 5 years.

The activity we did this year for the Fall was a Fall Into Reading Book Trail.  It was so super easy.  We bought 90 brand new books and “hid” them around the canal and park area in Holley for families and kids to find.  I believe all the books were gone by that evening.

This group of dual athletes and Interact Club members have, in the past 3 years:

Cleaned up the Holley Cemetery

Made lunches for the Homeless at Open Door Mission

Collected hygiene supplies for Sample Soap and went and handed them out at homeless shelters

Collected over 350 pairs of shoes for Soles for Souls

Created and carried out a Day of Caring.  We went to the animal shelter and cleaned and dropped off donations; went to a nursing home and brought gifts and spent time with the residents; and left a ton of gift cards on random cards to make people smile.

Organized a Village Wide Clean Sweep
