The Homer community showed incredible spirit, braving the cold and snow to make this holiday season brighter for those in need. On a frosty day filled with festive cheer, members of Homer Softball, Homer Baseball, and the Homer DECA Club came together to support the Toys for Tots program.
This was a true team effort, as 20 baseball and softball players dedicated three hours to collecting toy and cash donations, ensuring holiday joy for children in need. Despite the chilly weather, their enthusiasm and commitment never wavered.
This Friday, the generosity continues as both teams—30 players in total—will travel to Syracuse, NY, to help unload trucks and sort toys for distribution. Their dedication exemplifies the true meaning of the holiday spirit.
