About:
Students are continuing to build awareness around mental health, inclusion, and student support through a series of events led by the Morgan’s Message chapter.
As part of I-Fest Week, club members hosted a table during lunch periods featuring stickers, bracelets, magnets, and butterfly coloring sheets to help engage students in conversations surrounding mental health awareness and support.
The group also encouraged the community to attend Irondequoit’s Unified Basketball dedication game, bringing students together to celebrate inclusion, teamwork, and the importance of supporting one another both on and off the court.
In addition, Morgan’s Message members participated in school events like the flag football game, helping spread awareness and create opportunities for students to connect through positive, supportive activities.
Through these efforts, Irondequoit students are using leadership, school spirit, and athletics to foster a more inclusive environment while helping break the stigma surrounding mental health.
